DAY 1: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

DAY 1

Airport then drive to Tarangire National Park for full day game drive. It is a haven for countless numbers of animals. The park itself is massive, at 2,850 square kilometers it is the sixth-largest park in the country.

With almost 550 species of birds, it is an ornithologist’s paradise. It is said that the swamps support the largest number of breeding birds anywhere in the world!

In terms of vegetation the park is truly a baobab garden. These giant ancient trees are not only a food, but also a water source, of which animals like elephants make full use.

Late afternoon drive back to Tarangire Simba Lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: CENTRAL SERENGETI | SERONERA

DAY 2

Morning drive to central Serengeti area, known as the Seronera, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. You will have full day game drive in the area. Evening drive to Tanzania Bush Camps for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3: NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

DAY 3 : NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

After an early breakfast, your guide will pick you up and drive to Kuro airstrip for your flight to Ndutu. Ndutu is the area between South east Serengeti and North West Ngorongoro where the great migration will be from December to late April for the calving season. This short grassland area has highly nutritious grass due to the minerals found in the area and it is where the wildebeests calving occur in February. It is one of the very few places in the parks where off-road game drive is permitted, and the best place to see hunting cats (lions and cheetahs). Other animals in the place include hyenas, warthogs, elephants, giraffes and many more. You will drive proceed with game drive until late you drive to Tanzania Bush Camps Ndutu for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4: NGORONGORO CRATER

DAY 4 : NGORONGORO CRATER

You will start early on the last day of your safari. After a brief breakfast, you’ll start your early morning descend into the crater bottom at roughly 6:30 AM. The biggest intact, inactive, and empty volcanic caldera in the world is the Ngorongoro Crater. It has a huge floor area of over 260 square kilometres and a depth of more than 2000 feet. You will see a lot of animal activity during the five-hour game drive on the crater bottom. Keeping the camera at the ready is unquestionably advised. There are several African elephants, buffalo, black rhinoceroses, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions. After eating a picnic lunch beside the lovely Hippo pool, you will start the ascent to the crater’s top exit. There is still a four-hour drive to get to Arusha at the end of your safari. By 6:00 PM, you will be dropped off at the Arusha area of your choice. It is now time to say goodbye to your team after an amazing experience and a tonne of memories.
