Overview

This 6-day Kenya safari combines three of the country’s most iconic destinations—Masai Mara National Reserve, Lake Naivasha, and Amboseli National Park.

From the abundant wildlife of the Mara, to the tranquil waters of Naivasha, to the breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro in Amboseli, this itinerary offers unmatched diversity, scenery, and wildlife encounters.
Expect sightings of the Big Five, thousands of plains game, unique birdlife, and unforgettable safari experiences.

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi → Masai Mara National Reserve

• Pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or airport.

• Drive through the Great Rift Valley with scenic stopovers.

• Arrive at Masai Mara in time for lunch.

• Afternoon game drive across the rolling savannah plains—look out for lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, and zebras.

• Dinner & overnight at your selected lodge/camp.

Day 2: Full Day in Masai Mara

• Full-day game drive with packed lunch or morning & afternoon drives.

• Explore the rich wildlife areas including the Mara River, known for hippos and crocodiles.

• Spot the Big Five and large herds of wildebeest, especially during migration season (July–October).

• Optional activities:

  • Hot air balloon safari

  • Masai village visit

• Dinner & overnight at your selected lodge/camp.

Day 3: Masai Mara → Lake Naivasha

• Early breakfast and check-out.

• Depart for Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for lunch.

• Afternoon optional activities:

  • Boat ride on Lake Naivasha to view hippos and birds

  • Nature walk at Crescent Island (optional)

• Leisure evening at the hotel.

• Dinner & overnight stay.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha → Amboseli National Park

• After breakfast, drive to Amboseli National Park.

• Arrive for lunch at the lodge/camp.

• Afternoon game drive with stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

• Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds and excellent photography opportunities.

• Dinner & overnight at your selected lodge/camp.

Day 5: Full Day in Amboseli National Park

• Full-day exploration of Amboseli, known for:

  • Massive herds of elephants

  • Lions, cheetahs, hyenas, buffalo, and giraffes

  • Birdlife around the swamps

  • Breathtaking sunrise views of Kilimanjaro

• Enjoy game drives in different sections of the park.

Day 6: Amboseli → Nairobi

• Early morning game drive.

• Breakfast at the lodge.

• Check-out and drive back to Nairobi.

• Drop-off at your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta Airport.
