1. Where is Gorilla Trekking Done in Africa?

2. THE Cost OF GETTING GORILLA PERMITS

1. Gorilla permit in Uganda Costs $700 Per person per trek for the Foreign non-residents, $600 Per person for residents and $70 for East African Citizens.
2. The Gorilla permit in Rwanda Costs $1500 Per person per trek for the Foreign non-residents, $500 Per person for foreign residents and $200 for East African Citizens.
3. A Gorilla permit in Kahuzi Beiga National Park costs $400 for foreign non-residents, $200 for East Africa Residents and $20 national residents.

Biwindi National park in Uganda is famous for its Mountain Gorillas. River Gorillas survive in nine sites within a small mountainous area of about 12,000 km² at the headwaters of the River Cross, straddling the border between Nigeria and Cameroon. Populations of western Gorillas, can be found in Cameroon, the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Equatorial Guinea as well as in large areas in Gabon and the Republic of Congo. A comfortable, hard-wearing pair of walking shoes or boots is required for gorilla tracking. When it rains, conditions in the forest are generally very muddy. There may be some steep and intense uphill sections.
