Serengeti: Hot Air Balloon Flight

Hot air balloon flights in the Serengeti typically take place early in the morning, before sunrise. Passengers gather at a designated launch site, where they can watch as the balloon is inflated and prepared for flight. 4:00am – Pick-up from your Serengeti lodge or camp and transfer to the launch site
5:00am – Arrival at the launch site and hot beverages served while the balloon is inflated
5:30am – Board the balloon and take off into the air, guided by an experienced pilot
6:30am – Land back on solid ground and enjoy a traditional champagne breakfast or brunch in the bush
8:30am – Return transfer to your lodge or camp, arriving by around 9:30am

Thank you thank you thank you for everything. We had an amazing time. Ben and George were excellent. They definitely were in their comfort zone more in the Masai Mara, as they were from the area but they were great in Amboseli too. They always could read the animal behour and our car was always in the best spot! It couldn’t have been luck every time.
Thank you also for the support last night with our flight issues. Am excited to be on our way but sad to be leaving.

Our Serengeti safari and Zanzibar beach holiday organized by Amin at Taaaftours.com was unforgettable. We had the benefit of an experienced guide/driver for the trips around Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crate and Serengeti – Luka was extremely knowledgeable and went out of his way
for us to see the Cheetahs, Lions , Elephants and the collection of Zebras, Gazelles, Wildebeest, Giraffes, Hippos, etc. All the arrangements for transport (safari and flights from Seronera to Zanzibar) were on time and the lodges reflected the natural surroundings of the parks – such as the Tarangire Simba Lodge where the animals came right up to watering hole near the lodge to drink the water every evening. We enjoyed relaxing at the beach to recover from the “African Massage” from the safari!
